Suspected drug dealer arrested after being spotted using phone while driving

A SUSPECTED drug dealer has been arrested after a car was stopped in Rugby on Monday (November 14).

Officers from Rugby Proactive CID stopped the car in Stourhead Road after they reported seeing the driver using his mobile phone.

After the stop, officers seized cash and found evidence of drug dealing.

A 27-year-old man from London was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of drugs. He was later released under investigation while enquiries continue.
