Suspected drug dealer arrested near town centre

A SUSPECTED drug dealer has been arrested after police spotted what they believe was a drug deal near the town centre yesterday (Wednesday May 4).

The 44-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of drugs by officers from Rugby Proactive CID while they were on drug patrols in West Leyes off Corporation Street.

Police seized suspected Class A drugs, a phone, and cash from the suspect.
