A TEEN has been arrested by officers investigating the collapse of a boy who is believed to have taken high-purity ecstasy on News Year’s Eve.
A 16-year-old boy from Rugby was arrested yesterday (Sunday January 13) on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs.
He has been released under investigation while enquiries continue.
A different 16-year-old boy remains in a critical but stable condition in hospital after he was found critically ill in Bilton Road on News Year’s Eve. Police believe he took high-purity MDMA.
Police seized ecstasy tablets bearing the Audi car logo and the letters ‘AU’ from the scene, and found them to be high-purity MDMA.
