A TEENAGER was assaulted when two robbers tried to take his phone.
The 18-year-old man was walking down Railway Terrace towards the train station between 1.30-1.50am on Sunday May 15 when he was approached by two men.
They assaulted him and pushed him against a wall, and one of the suspects tried to take the victim’s phone – but it fell to the ground and broke.
The suspects left without the phone and went towards Wood Street.
The suspects are described as white and in their twenties. One was wearing a cap, grey trousers, a grey sweatshirt and white shoes, and the other was wearing a black top.
