RUGBY Theatre is on the hunt for Richard Hannay.
The theatre needs a male actor to complete the cast list for its November production of The 39 Steps.
The stage production of John Buchan’s classic stars four actors in a fast-paced, comedy whodunnit, and Rugby Theatre is looking for a man aged between 20 and 50 to play the smooth-talking part of Hannay.
“In The 39 Steps, Richard Hannay was a hunted man, and Rugby Theatre is now hunting for a Richard Hannay,” says Simon Burne, the show’s director.
“It’s the most brilliantly funny comedy version of the Hitchcock film. Everyone is welcome, and I can promise you at the very least a fun audition. Why not come along and give it a go?”
Auditions for the part will take place on Friday June 10 at 7.30pm in the bar at the Henry Street theatre.
