Thieves muscle way into Crick fitness centre

Rugby Editorial 7th Sep, 2015 Updated: 27th Oct, 2016

BURGLARS smashed their way into a Crick fitness centre and took equipment sometime between 9.30pm on Thursday (September 3) and 6am Friday (September 4).

After breaking open the front door, the thieves took a large number of coloured weights, sets of boxing gloves and pads and a generator from the building in Yelvertoft Road.

The weights were similar to those pictured and one of the sets of gloves was a distinctive Max Pro make in red, white and blue.

Witnesses, or anyone who is offered any similar equipment for sale, can call Northamptonshire Police on 101 or independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously via www.crimestoppers-uk.org or on 0800 555 111.
