BARNACLE is preparing for one of its busiest days of the year when it hosts its annual sale on Sunday.
And for the first time people from outside the village of just 96 houses can sell their items at special plots that have been allocated at the village hall.
Residents will set up stalls in their own gardens and driveways from 10am.
Clive Raymont, chairman of the Barnacle Village Hall committee, said: “Barnacle is a very friendly village and it’s good to see the crowds strolling through the village looking for potential bargains.
“There is always a good atmosphere and buzz of excitement, and the sale will only be cancelled if extreme weather conditions prevail.”
