A TUG-of-war between pubs in Hillmorton is being held to pull in life-saving funds.
The free event, organised by Friends of East Rugby, marks the beginning of a campaign to fund-raise for a defibrillator unit in the area.
Families are invited to bring a picnic to Hillmorton Recreation Ground, Featherbed Lane on Saturday (August 25) from 11.30am to 3.30pm, and join Rugby Borough Council play rangers in their sumo suits, along with other fun and games.
Home cooked food from Mrs Brown’s Boys is also set to keep participants energised.
And Rugby mayor Tom Mahoney will be on hand to award the tug of war trophy to the winning pub.
