Two more drug-related arrests in Rugby

TWO more men have been arrested in the latest of a string of drug-related incidents in Rugby.

Police from Rugby Proactive CID were on patrol Wednesday lunchtime when they spotted a suspiciously parked black BMW car on Wilf Brown Close

The officers stopped and detained the car’s occupants, where a quantity of suspected class A drugs, cash and mobile phones were seized.

Two men, aged 28 and 33 from Rugby, were arrested on suspicion of possession of class A drugs with intent to supply.

They have been released under investigation while enquiries continue.

Anyone with any information concerning suspected drug dealing in the area is asked to call Warwickshire Police on 101 or report it via the force website. Alternatively, information can be provided anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or via their website.
