Warwickshire Country Parks Photography Competition open to public vote

KEEN-eyed photographers in Warwickshire have lined up a stunning selection of pictures in the shortlist for the county’s Country Parks Photography Competition.

The winning photographs will be decided by a public vote, which is now open.

The competition challenged residents to capture nature through the seasons at the county’s ten country parks, greenways and nature reserves.

Coun Heather Timms, Warwickshire County Council’s spokesperson for Environment, Culture, and Climate, said: “We’re thrilled with the talent and creativity shown in this year’s photography competition. These images truly celebrate our country parks and the breathtaking natural beauty they offer.

“I encourage people from Warwickshire and beyond to get involved by casting their votes, and perhaps in doing so, get inspired to plan their own park visit.”

The 12 shortlisted photos will represent each month of the year in the new Warwickshire Country Parks Calendar, with the overall winner also featuring on the front cover.

All the finalists will receive a copy of the calendar, and the overall winner will be offered a special tailored VIP park experience with their family or friends.

Visit countryparks.warwickshire.gov.uk/vote to see the 12 shortlisted images and vote for your favourite.

Voting closes at midnight on Sunday October 13.
