TO celebrate Specsavers in Rugby’s 25th anniversary the store has teamed up with The Observer to give away two pairs of designer specs worth up to £149 each.
Specsavers in Rugby first opened its doors back in 1989 at its original premises at 35 Sheep Street. A team of just three then looked after the eyecare needs of some 50 customers each week.
Sixteen years later, the store moved to its current premises in the Clock Tower Shopping Centre where a team of now 38 look after more than 600 customers each week.
“Looking back over the last 25 years, which have gone so fast, it’s amazing to see how the business has changed,” says store director Bhavna Hughes.
“But our values and commitment remain the same – ensuring we provide the very best in eye care to all our customers.”
The store has planned a week of celebrations starting on Monday, July 28, culminating with a fun day on Saturday, August 2. The Mayor of Rugby Ramesh Srivastava will also visit Specsavers on Friday, August 1 to officially mark the store’s anniversary and join in the celebrations.
Specsavers in Rugby is fully equipped with six optical consulting rooms, dedicated in-store hearing centre and the latest in eye care equipment.
