WITNESSES are being asked to come forward after a dog bit a 10-year-old boy.
It happened outside the shops in Kingsway at around 2pm on August 24.
The dog is described as a white ‘staffie-like’ dog with brown spots. Its owner is a white man with short brown hair.
A police spokesperson said: “We have been trying to identify the owner and dog without releasing details of this incident in order to minimise the impact on the victim. However we now require any information which may help the investigation.”
