Young Rugby artists urged to show off skills in annual competition

YOUNG Rugby artists are being urged to show off their skills.

The Rugby Rotary Young Artist competition returns after a three year Covid-enforced absence.

The competition is open to school pupils from years 7 through to 13. They can enter the competition through their art teacher or individually by applying by email to

Individual completed entry forms need to accompany the work and be at St Andrews Church on Thursday June 30, between 10am and 2pm.

The exhibition will be open daily at the church from July 4 to 17 from 10am to 2pm. Prize giving is at 12.30pm on Saturday July 16.

Judges will consider technical merit, content and composition, imagination and style. There will also be a public vote throughout the exhibition. All competitors will receive a certificate of participation and winners will receive cash prizes.
