BOURTON and Frankton CC ended a successful 2022 season with a 28-run friendly win away at Eydon.
Batting first, Bourton were bowled out for 143 in 34.2 overs with Dale Coles top scoring with an impressive 63 whilst Mark Whitehead (19) and Richard Parsons (17) chipped in with useful runs.
Joe Cox (2-6) was the pick of the Eydon bowlers as six other players grabbed a wicket each.
In reply, Bourton skittled Eydon for 115 in just 26.1 overs as Cox and Ben Dunn (both 22) top scored with the visitors steadily taking wickets.
Pat McManus (3-35), Parsons (2-5), Nigel Kidd (2-5) Stuart McQuillan (2-13) all shone with the ball in a devastating display of bowling.
