BOURTON and Frankton exited the Coventry Benevolent Cup following a 4-1 home defeat against Shilton Reserves.
Bourton briefly reduced the deficit courtesy of Jordan Jackson’s goal as Lucas Van Spelde netted four times for the visitors at The Field.
The defeat means Bourton exit the competition at the quarter-final stage at the hands of Coventry Alliance Division Three leaders Shilton.
Van Spelde struck twice in each half for Shilton although Jackson did manage to reduce arrears early in the second period.
Bourton are next in action against Coundon Court Development on Saturday, November 23 with kick-off at 2.15pm at The Field.
