BOURTON and Frankton returned to winning ways with a dominant 6-2 win against Warwick Junior Seniors, writes Karl Quinney.
After a steady start, Bourton took and extended their lead in quick succession with impressive strikes from Jordan Jackson and then Danny McManus.
And they continued to look threatening as the half progressed and extended the advantage to four with Tom Udall grabbing his first goal for the club and Jackson scoring his second of the day after a mazy run.
However, Warwick kept the game alive as they hit back in the final stages of the first half to see both sides going into the break with Bourton holding a 4-1 advantage.
Warwick improved in the second half and scored from a corner early on to reduce the deficit to two goals.
However, Bourton regained control and increased their lead in the latter stages with George Smith and Ashley Whitehead grabbing a goal apiece to round off a useful 6-2 success.
With no game scheduled for Saturday, Bourton are back in action with a midweek fixture on Tuesday, April 16 away at Shilton Reserves.
