KYLE Young’s injury time goal rescued a point for Bourton and Frankton in a 1-1 draw with 10-man Jet Blades Reserves.
Young equalised at the death after Alex Olner opened the scoring for Jet Blades at The Field.
The result means Bourton sit seventh in the Coventry Alliance Football League Division Three table.
Jet Blades created the better chances in a goalless first half before the visitors were reduced to 10-men for a rash challenge on the stroke of half time.
However, Blades broke the deadlock early in the second half after Bourton failed to clear their lines at a corner.
A sin bin for dissent briefly reduced Blades to nine-men before Bourton finally found an equaliser with virtually the last kick of the game .
Tom Udall’s free kick picked out Kyle Young who sent a well-placed header into the top corner to earn Bourton a share of the points.
Bourton are next in action at home to Coventry Phoenix Thirds on Saturday, March 30 with kick-off at 2.15pm at The Field.
Elsewhere, the club’s under-15 side beat Chapelfield Colts 4-2 in the Coventry and Warwickshire Youth Football League.
A brace apiece from Riley Thompson and Freddie Young handed Bourton’s youngsters a much-deserved victory over Chapelfield.
The youth team’s return to action showed no signs of rustiness as Thompson’s two goals either side of Young’s first gave Bourton a useful 3-1 cushion at the break.
Although the visitors pulled a goal back in the second half, Young’s second of the day wrapped up the points for the home side.
