HILLMORTON RESERVES surrendered a two-goal lead as they slipped to a 2-2 draw with league leaders Red Lion.
The home side deservedly took the lead through Billy Sewell’s lob before Dominic Gallagher repeated the trick shortly after.
Prior to that, Hillmorton had gone close but Red Lion pulled a goal back almost immediately to keep themselves in the contest.
Hillmorton produced a resolute display in the second period to keep the leaders at bay with Joey Green performing superbly in goal.
However, the visitors grabbed a late leveller against the run of play before Hillmorton spurned a golden chance to snatch the points when they missed from a yard out at the death.
