RUGBY Borough extended their unbeaten run to four matches with a 2-0 victory away at Long Eaton United.
A header from Oran Jackson and a Jake Finnerty own goal saw Borough claim a hard-fought victory at Grange Park.
The result means Rugby sit 13th in the Northern Premier League Midlands table, six points outside of the play-off places.
Borough broke the deadlock one minute before half time when Jackson’s header found the net.
And an own goal from Finnerty doubled the away side’s lead on 51 minutes after he turned Will Grocott’s free-kick into his own net.
Rugby are next in action against Mickleover on Saturday, February 21 with kick-off at 3pm at Kilsby Lane.
