RUGBY Borough eased into the First Round Proper of the FA Vase with a convincing 4-1 away win at Paget Rangers.
Goals from Delroy Chikuza, Gez McGahey, Shaun Ruzvidzo and Kye Little at Castle Vale secured Borough’s place in the next round.
The FA Vase First Round Proper draw takes place at 1pm on Monday, September 23.
Rugby made the perfect start when Chikuza poked home Courtney Lashley’s corner via the aid of the crossbar after just nine minutes.
And Borough doubled their lead on 17 minutes as McGahey fired home from close range after the Paget goalkeeper could only parry Antonio Cristofaro’s initial free-kick.
The visitors extended their lead when Rudvidzo lobbed the ball over the Paget goalkeeper.
And Little completed the scoring late on after dancing around a number of Paget defenders before finding the net.
Rugby are next in action against Daventry Town on Tuesday, September 24 with kick-off at 7.45pm at the Master Abrasives Stadium.
