RUGBY Borough dropped more points in their pursuit of promotion following a 1-1 home draw against Bugbrooke St. Michaels.
Borough took the lead courtesy of Luke Downes’ goal only for Shad Reza to draw the visitors level in the second half at Kilsby Lane.
The result means Rugby sit third in the United Counties League Premier Division South table, 11 points behind leaders St Neots Town with a game in-hand.
Rugby broke the deadlock in the first half as Gez McGahey’s shot deflected into the net off Downes to send the home side into the break with a narrow lead.
However, the visitors equalised on 70 minutes when Shad Reza pounced on a mistake at the back to draw Bugbrooke level.
Rugby are next in action against Daventry Town on Saturday, February 15 with kick-off at 3pm at Kilsby Lane.
