RUGBY Borough captain Oran Jackson won a hat-trick of prizes at the club’s end-of-season awards night.
Jackson captained Borough to a first-ever promotion to Step Four after Rugby triumphed in the United Counties League Premier Division South play-off final.
The defender scooped the manager’s player, players’ player and supporters’ player of the season awards.
And Gez McGahey claimed the top goalscorer award while Antonio Cristofaro won the young player of the year award.
Club stalwart John Meadows earned the most appearances accolade after featuring in 50 matches throughout the campaign.
And Yaya Tood won the goal of the season award for his stunning strike against Bugbrooke St Michaels in just the second game of the season.
Borough chairman Steve Turner thanked manager Dave Stringer and his team along with club volunteers.
He presented a commemorative silver plate in recognition of the vital contributions made to the club.
And every member of Rugby’s playing squad, coaching staff and volunteer team received a custom-designed medal for playing their part in the club’s historic promotion.
