RUGBY Borough moved up to second in the table with a commanding 3-0 home win against high-flying Corby Town.
Borough leapfrogged Corby in the table after Tendai Daire, Bryan Kohyrelon and Will Grocott all found the net at Kilsby Lane.
The result means Rugby sit second in the Northern Premier League Midlands table, level on points with leaders Belper Town who have a game in-hand.
Borough broke the deadlock on 31 minutes as Daire’s fine effort put the home side in front.
And Rugby sealed the points in the first minute of injury time in the second half as Kohyrelon beat four players before finding the net.
Borough struck again four minutes later when Grocott scored from the penalty spot to put the seal on an impressive victory.
Rugby are next in action against Shepshed Dynamo on Saturday, September 20 with kick-off at 3pm at the Dovecote Stadium.
