RUGBY Town will play in the Northern Premier League Midlands Division next season after the FA released the National League System club allocations for steps one to six.
Valley won promotion from the United Counties League Premier Division South last term and have been placed in the NPL Midlands Division.
Rugby can look forward to matches against last season’s title rivals Coventry Sphinx and a first ever meeting with newly-promoted Walsall Wood.
Valley, Coventry and Walsall are three of six newly-promoted sides who have joined the division along with Anstey Nomads, Lye Town and Quorn.
AFC Rushden and Diamonds have dropped into league following their relegation last term.
The rest of the division is made up of Bedworth United, Boldmere St Michael’s, Cambridge City, Coleshill Town, Corby Town, Gresley Rovers, Harborough Town, Hinckley LR, Loughborough Dynamo, Shepshed Dynamo, Spalding United, Sporting Khalsa and Sutton Coldfield Town.
All leagues are subject to FA Council ratification.
