RUGBY Town have announced that Drew Kear has signed a contract with the club until the end of the season.
Kear has impressed for Valley this season from right wing-back and has scored two goals including an important equaliser against Grantham Town in the FA Cup.
He originally signed for the club on a short-term deal back in July from Hinckley and can also operate further up the pitch.
The club have also recently added Tom Fielding to their squad with the 23-year-old having spent the last two years in the United States of America.
And the 23-year-old excelled on debut in midweek as he scored a goal and an assist from the bench in Rugby’s 7-0 thrashing of Rothwell Corinthians at Butlin Road.
Fielding can play in midfield or attack and started out in Leicester City’s academy before later joining Mansfield Town where he made one senior appearance in the EFL Trophy.
He moved to USA in 2020 to continue his education where he featured for Coastal Carolina Chanticleers and Seattle University.
