DAVID Kolodynski scored twice as Rugby Town returned to winning ways with an emphatic 4-0 victory against GNG Oadby Town.
Kolodynski marked his return to the starting lineup with a goal in either half before substitutes Edwin Ahenkorah and Ryan Seal added some gloss to the scoreline at Butlin Road.
The result consolidates Rugby’s position at the top of the United Counties League Premier Division South table
Kolodynski curled home the opener on the half-hour mark to put Valley in front at the break.
And the striker doubled his tally for the game on 62 minutes when he finished from Dan Summerfield’s cross at the far post.
Rugby were dominant thereafter as Kolodynski turned provider after he robbed an Oadby defender of possession and teed up Ahenkorah who produced a confident finish.
And fellow substitute Seal completed the scoring deep into time added on with a well-taken first time finish after his initial effort had been blocked.
Rugby are next in action away at Desborough Town on Saturday, November 5 with kick-off at 3pm at Waterworks Field.
