JORDAN Wilson and David Kolodynski both scored twice as Rugby Town eased to a 6-2 win away at Bugbrooke St Michaels to secure their 12th successive victory in the league.

Wilson started and completed the first-half scoring as Kolodynski’s brace and an Edwin Ahenkorah strike put Rugby firmly in command before Madundo Semahimbo added a sixth in the second half at The Sett.

The result means Rugby lead the United Counties League Premier Division South table by 17 points and have now scored 39 goals in their last 12 matches.

Valley took the lead on four minutes when Wilson finished from close range from a corner before Kolodynski cleverly flicked home Caine Elliott’s cutback on nine minutes to double Rugby’s advantage.

And Kolodynski grabbed his second of the game on 17 minutes with another well-taken goal before Ahenkorah finished off a flowing move to score Rugby’s fourth of the afternoon on 34 minutes.

Bugbrooke responded just three minutes later when Calvin Green found the net only for Wilson to score his second on the stroke of half time from another Elliott assist.

And Semahimbo continued his fine scoring form on 54 minutes with a good finish before Freddie King completed the scoring with a consolation goal for Bugbrooke just past the hour mark.

Rugby are next in action away at Easington Sports on Saturday, Febraury 18 with kick-off at 3pm at Addison Road.
