CHEVEZ Walder’s hat-trick inspired Bourton and Frankton to back-to-back league wins with a 5-3 victory against Dunlop Reserves.
Walder hauled his side level with a first-half brace before completing his treble with the game’s final goal with Kyle Young and Chris Shorey also on target for Bourton.
And the result means Bourton sit fifth in the Coventry Alliance Division Three table.
The fixture took place at Coventry’s Alan Higgs Centre with Bourton’s ground deemed unplayable due to the recent bad weather.
And Bourton made a slow start as Dunlop punished some early mistakes to race into a two-goal lead.
However, Walder netted a quickfire brace to restore parity before Young’s header from a free-kick completed a remarkable turnaround.
Dunlop levelled the game before the break with an effort from long range as the first half edned three-apiece.
The home side eventually pulled clear of their opponents as Shorey restored Bourton’s advantage before Walder completed his hat-trick to seal the points.
Bourton are next in action at home to Jet Blades Reserves on Saturday, March 23 with kick-off at 2.15pm at The Field.
