CHEVEZ Walder scored a hat-trick as Bourton and Frankton secured an impressive 4-1 victory away at Panjab Athletic.
Walder added to his four goals last week with another hat-trick with substitute Dan McManus also on target at Green Park.
The result means Bourton sit sixth in the Coventry Alliance Division Three table.
Bourton took the lead when Walder found the net from Michael Reesby’s flick-on after Chris Shorey’s powerful long throw-in.
And the visitors doubled their lead after the break as Walder ran on to a cross from the right to score his second of the game.
Substutute McManus then placed a superb free-kick into the top-right corner of the goal before Walder turned home a loose ball to complete his treble while Panjab scored a consolation goal late on.
Bourton are next in action at home to Jet Blades Reserves on Saturday, October 7 in the Peter Toogood Cup with kick-off at 2.15pm at The Field.
Elsewhere, the club’s under-15’s side suffered a 3-2 defeat against Meriden Rovers in the first round of the League Cup despite two goals from Freddie Young.
