Fuller delighted to be back at Rugby Borough

IT HAS been a turbulent week for Rugby Borough who have released managers Joe Conneely and Neil Collett from their duties.

But the Leicestershire Premier outfit have wasted little time in welcoming back Ady Fuller to the club.

Fuller had left Borough for Southern League Division One Central strugglers Kidlington in the summer but things have not quite worked out for him at Step Four on the non-league ladder.

He will be assisted by Jamie Tank.

The change of management was made after Borough bowed out of the Birmingham Vase in a dismal 2-0 defeat to Crown FNP.

“I’m delighted to be back,” said Fuller, who guided Borough to the Leicestershire One title last year.

“As a manager you like to test yourself at the highest level.

“Kidlington offered me that chance but it never worked out.

“Jamie has agreed to be my assistant and we are talking to a couple of high profile coaches who we also wish to bring in to the set up.

“We have a lot of talent within Rugby and I will be making sure we use that talent within the Borough first team.”

Borough play host to title hopefuls Saffron Dynamo on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Borough’s U18s have an FA Youth Cup first round tie against Sutton Coldfield to look forward to on Monday night at Kilsby Lane (7.45pm KO).
