RUGBY’S G Force Martial Arts School has safely reopened and is welcoming back staff and members after it was professionally sanitised to keep it safe from Covid with a microbe-shield.
Martial Arts are a great way for people to de-stress and get active and the reopening of the centre has brought a lot of joy to the local community.
Long-term sanitisation solutions have been introduced to make sport centres safe environments for staff and gym-goers.
The Filta Group has worked with G Force Martial Arts School to sanitise the premises and protect staff and members from COVID-19, as lockdown continues to ease and businesses and public spaces reopen across the UK.
Filta’s service has been developed to provide an increased level of protection and allow business operators to monitor for the viral infection. Filta’s fleet of technicians sanitised and disinfected the premises, eliminating all enveloped viruses, flu and up to 99.99 per cent of bacteria.
In addition to conventional sanitisation, Filta has partnered with biotech company Zoono – suppliers of a revolutionary antibacterial technology which continues to protect surfaces for up to 30 days.
The product was applied to surfaces in a process called ‘fogging’, which permanently bonds to them to set up a nano-molecular layer of pins which create a hostile barrier to germs, physically impaling and destroying them as they come into contact with the Zoono layer.
Filta’s technicians will make ongoing visits to the G Force Martial Arts School every 30 days – creating a report after they swab surfaces and using a specialist ATP reader to ensure the premises are hygienically clean.
Edward Palin, commercial director of Filta Group, said: “As the government allows gyms and sport centres to reopen, we are delighted to be working with the G Force Martial Arts School to open safely and welcome back its staff and members.
“The centre provides a vital resource for the public to look after both their physical and mental health with exercise and, as a Rugby-based business, we are pleased to give back to the community by helping another business in our community reopen.”
Gordon Burcham, owner of G Force Martial Arts, said: “Martial Arts training teaches essential life skills and it’s important for us and our members that we are back open.
“We are really pleased to be working with Filta. Their regular service means our mats, floors and facilities are hygienically fogged and sanitised and their regular swab testing and cloud data logging provides reassurance we have the highest standards of cleaning.”
In addition to its sanitisation process, FiltaShield has created an advanced Fever Screening Thermographic Camera designed to detect elevated skin-surface temperatures.
This station can be used for rapid and preliminary fever screenings in office buildings, factories, stations, airports and other public places.
