Hertz-Electrical to sponsor Rugby Borough Football Club's under-14 girls team

RUGBY Borough have announced Hertz-Electrical as the club’s new sponsor for for their under-14 girls team.

The sponsorship will see the electrical company’s logo displayed on the team’s kit this season.

And the partnership between the two organisations demonstrating the commitment Hertz-Electrical, a local business located in Rugby, has to supporting the community.

Director of Hertz-Electrical Andy Wood said: “We are extremely proud and excited to have secured a sponsorship deal between Hertz-Electrical and Rugby Borough Football Club.




“The ethos of Rugby Borough Football Club is ‘one club on community’, which definitely echoes our values at Hertz-Electrical.

“We are a Rugby-based organisation, proudly serving customers across the Midlands, and we are always looking for ways to support local organisations – especially those who share the same values as us.


“Rugby Borough Football Club, not least their girls’ teams, have successfully come so far over the years and we’re all looking forward to being part of their future, as they continue to grow.

“This year, we watched our country’s Lionesses make history when they won the Euros – but those players each have to start somewhere.

“It’s so important that local businesses support grassroot clubs, and who knows, we might even be sponsoring a future Chloe Kelly or Ella Toone!

“We really believe this is the start of something special between two growing organisations, and I know all of the team at Hertz-Electrical is excited about developing the partnership between us both.”

Having launched in 1994, Rugby Borough Football Club which started out as a junior club,

now boasts more than 60 teams, ranging from two-four-year-old players, all the way up to their veteran squads.

And, in 2020, the club’s Girls Under 14 made their debut in the Leicestershire Women’s and Girls League.

Rugby Borough Football Club is now home to an award-winning facility on Kilsby Lane, with

2019 seeing the opening of the Alan Young Stand, which was opened by Coventry City legend and FA Cup winner Steve Ogrizovic.
