NORMA’S Crew preserved their perfect start in Division A of the Rugby Friday Night Charity Darts League with victory against Crown Avoner’s.
The fixture raised £28 for charity as Norma’s Crew eased to an 18-3 victory in what was Crown Avoner’s first outing of the season.
Crown Avoner’s won just three points across five singles and two pairs as Norma’s Crew dominated from start to finish.
Elsewhere, Mad Moonies edged out Crow Pie and A Pint 12-9 and raised £26 for charity in the process.
The teams shared the first two games before Mad Moonies secured three successive 3-0 wins to put them in complete control.
And despite a strong response from Crow Pie and Pint in the pairs, Mad Moonies did enough to win by three points.
Railway B made the perfect start to the season with a narrow 11-10 win against It’s A Family Affair in a derby game.
The other fixture between The White Lion and Shaz’s New Crew was postponed.
In Division B, Worker’s Wombles top the table despite suffering an 11-10 defeat against Royal Oak who maintained their perfect start.
The game was level at five-all after four games before Worker’s Wombles won the next game 3-0 to take a three-point lead going into the pairs.
However, Royal Oak fought back to pick up five points in the pairs matches and secure a narrow one-point victory whilst raising £15 for charity.
The Webb and Crick Club raised an impressive £43 for charity in their game as the former side triumphed 14-7 to claim their first victory of the season.
Webb and Crick shared the points in the opening two games before the home side won eight of the next nine available points to take control.
And the pairs finished honours even to ensure Webb went home with the points.
