RESULTS - Rugby Friday Night Charity Darts League

NORMA’S Crew and Mad Moonies preserved their respective unbeaten starts to the season with wins in Division A of the Rugby Friday Night Charity Darts League.

The league leaders, Norma’s Crew, continued their early season dominance with a comfortable 15-6 victory against It’s A Family Affair as £24 was raised for charity.

Norma’s Crew won four of the five singles matches to take a commanding 11-4 lead although their opponents did at least manage to win the final doubles game.

Elsewhere, Mad Moonies lost the opening game against Crown Avoner’s but produced an impressive comeback to lead 11-4 at the end of the singles before eventually securing a 12-9 victory.

The two teams came together to raise £15 for charity.

In the other game, Shaz’s New Crew raced into a 12-0 lead after four matches against Railway B and went on to seal a 17-4 success.




The fixture between Crow Pie and A Pint and The White Lion was postponed.

There was only one game in Division B as Royal Oak maintained their unbeaten start with a 17-4 win against Worker’s C in which £21 was raised for charity.


The home side led 11-4 at the end of the singles and won both pairs games 3-0 to secure a comfortable victory.

However, the game between the Worker’s Wombles and Crick Club was postponed.
