LAUREN Henry stormed into the single sculls final representing Great Britain at the World Rowing Championships in Shanghai, China.
The Rugby-born rower won her semi-final by more than five seconds and posted the fastest time of any sculler across the two semi-finals.
She crossed the line in 7 minutes 28.75 seconds and will now race for gold in the final.
Henry said: “That was a good semi final for me.
“To get the job done in as controlled a way as possible.
“I’m pleased with it and feeling excited about the final. I can only do my best, but I hope that will be good enough.”
