LAUREN Henry is aiming to continue her unbeaten start to the season as part of the Great Britain squad at the World Rowing Cup in Lucerne.
The Rugby-born rower heads to Switzerland off the back of winning gold at the same event in Varese, Italy.
She also recently won European Rowing Championships gold in Bulgaria after switching to the single sculls discipline.
Henry now heads to Lucerne for the latest World Rowing Cup event over the weekend of June 27 to 29.
British Rowing performance director, Louise Kingsley said: “Results at the Europeans and World Cup Varese have been encouraging and we’ve seen some standout performances from the likes of Benjamin Pritchard, Lauren Henry, our eights and our quads.
“We’ve also seen many of our newer athletes learning with each race and delivering improved results.
“Lucerne is our last multi-lane racing opportunity before the World Championships, and more international competitors are expected, so it will be a good, final marker before we make our crew decisions for the big one in Shanghai.”
