RUGBY cemented top spot in Birmingham League Division Three with a 71-run victory over Lichfield.
Lichfield chose to bowl after winning the toss with Thomas Stone (5-42) and Jack Warren (4-31) doing the damage with the ball to bowl Rugby out for 134.
After succeeding with the ball Lichfield failed with the bat as they were skittled out for 63 in the 29th over.
Lee Golding (4-19) and Henry Wilkins (4-12) were the stand out performers for Rugby who play host to Pelsall on Saturday.
