RUGBY Town Juniors could get a glimpse of the stars of tomorrow after it was confirmed this week that the club’s Kilsby Lane venue will be the home of Northampton Town’s NCL first and reserve team games.

The first game took place against Chelsea and the likes of Liverpool, Watford and Crystal Palace are all set to play at the venue over the season with games being played on a Wednesday and Friday.

Rugby Town Juniors has also confirmed a two-year link up with World Leaders Coerver Coaching UK which will see the coaches and parents benefit from sessions at the Kilsby Lane site.

The programme, which was launched last week, saw 72 club coaches attend making a commitment to get on board the programme.

Coerver England and Wales Director, Scott Wright, said: “Rugby Town JFC are one of only six grassroots football clubs in England & Wales to have been granted Coerver Partner Club status, which will initially run for the 2016/17 and 2017/18 and is exclusive in the county of Warwickshire.

“We will be supporting all club members to include players, coaches and parents in a variety of ways over the next couple of years which is all geared towards developing the football side of the club to match the fantastic facilities at Kilsby Lane.

“Everything is in place now to really push the club forward and these are really exciting times for everyone connected with Rugby Town JFC.”
