SIX trampolinists from Rugby travelled to Peterborough to take part in the British Gymnastics trampoline and tumbling Regional Finals.
Only the top two from every division, organised by grades 1-6, age group and gender, from England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland are invited to compete in the regional finals, which were held on May 30.
A total of six trampolinists from Rugby Trampolining Club competed for the West Midlands in the British Gymnastic regional finals.
Oliver Pendleton (category 9-10, Grade 1) came second for his division, while Amy Donovan (11-12, Grade 1) and Chloe Adams (13-14, Grade 5) both came 12th in a very close competition, with the whole of the top 17 scoring within five points of each other.
George Bowen (11-12, Grade 6) placed second in his division with a tarriff of 6.5, the highest tarriff in his division by 2.3 points, while Lewis Bull (11-12, Grade 5) came fifth within his division.
Beth Sumner (age 13-14, Grade 6) came 18th in the highest grade of the day, while in the same category for boys Daniel Edge also got through to the Regional Finals but unfortunately broke his arm prior to the competition and was therefore unable to compete.
Pendleton, Bowen and Bull all finished in the top eight of their respective group and will go through to the finals in Telford next month.
