BEN Davison scored a 12-minute hat-trick in a four-try haul as Rugby St Andrews secured a 10th straight win with a dominant 50-13 victory against South Leicester.
Davison scored four first-half tries with Joe Hudson, Toby Lafferty, Jack Kettleborough and Matt Phipps all dotting down before the break at the Hillmorton Grounds.
The result means Saints lead the Counties 3 Midlands East (South) table by eight points having won all 10 of their league matches this season.
Rugby opened the scoring on seven minutes when Hudson ran in under the posts after captain George Headley cut a superb line before passing inside for Hudson to touch down.
And Davison then scored a quickfire hat-trick to secure Saints a bonus point with just 22 minutes on the clock.
South Leicester responded with a penalty before Lafferty powered over for Saints fifth try in his last game for the club after he reacted quickest to claim an overthrow at a lineout.
And the home side struck again when Kettleborough finished off a slick passing move before Phipps dotted down following a series of inside passes.
Davison scored his fourth and Saints eighth try of the first half just before the break with Chris Halcrow kicking five conversions as Rugby reached the 50-point mark.
Saints failed to add to their total after the break as South Leicester crossed for two tries with the home side content to field their squad players in need of playing time in the second period.
Rugby are next in action away at Castle Donington on Saturday, January 20 with kick-off at 2.15pm at Spital Park.
