REGISTRATION is still open for this Sunday’s Ready Steady Fun Run in Rugby.
Run in conjunction with Rugby & Northampton Running Club, the annual 5k fun run generates funds for local causes, distributed through Rugby Round Table.
The event is open to runners of all abilities, from the age of eight years and over, with numbers growing year on year since it was first held back in 2009.
All finishers of the run receive a medal and post-run goodies, whilst Rugby Physiotherapy will be on site to provide post-race massages.
The run will take place at the Rugby Athletics track, next to the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Centre, with registration details available at www.randnac.org
Entry to the event is £12 for adults, rising to £15 for entry on the day, and £6 for under-16s.
Younger children under the age of eight will also get their chance to get involved with the fun, with a number of taster athletics activities being provided by Rugby & Northampton Athletic Club.
