Tank and Fuller commit to Rugby Borough for further year

Rugby Editorial 11th May, 2018   0

RUGBY Borough joint bosses Darren Tank and Ady Fuller have agreed to stay in charge for a further year.

The duo guided Borough to promotion from Leicestershire Senior League Division One this season and are looking forward to plying their trade at Step Seven of the non-league pyramid next season in the Premier Division.

Tank said: “We’ve had a fantastic first season and couldn’t have asked for a better result.

“The links with Rugby Town Juniors and the Strachan Football Foundation have been a gift for us which me and Ady have taken full advantage of.

“We’re also impressed with the off-field progress of the site and can only see it helping us further.

“There’s also the possibility of more teams playing for Borough in over-18 leagues next season and this a great development path for the young players.”

A statement from Borough’s board said they were delighted Tank and Fuller had decided to remain for a further season.

It added: “Our objection was promotion and that’s what they delivered.

“We now need to sit down and discuss their plans and our vision for the future of the club.”
