CROSSBOW: THERE were three gold medals for Rugby Sport for the Disabled stars at the Indoors 18-metre Shootout at the weekend.
Iris Bingham won top prize again, this time winning the ‘target bow’ with a score of 594 out of 600, while Anne Burt’s score of 547 saw her win the ‘Ladies Sport’ title.
Graeme Mooney was also a winner after scoring 559 at the 25cm vegas face, which was enough to claim the ‘Mens Sport’ accolade.
Mooney said: “I was shooting a new bow for a third time and found the target so tiny.
Burt added: “I swapped from archery to crossbow after Christmas so I’m chuffed with my score.”
As this shoot was a World Crossbow Shooting Association Star shoot, the scores will be submitted as a club shoot for World Ranking points.
