Three medals for Rugby archers

THREE members from Rugby Sport for the Disabled claimed medals and set new records at a recent National Crossbow Federation event held in Gloucester.

Iris Bingham claimed Gold in the Target category after beating her existing total by 46 points which was enough to break four National Crossbow Federation record.

Speaking after win, Iris said: β€œIt was marvellous to have a warm, calm day. The only distraction was very noisy motorbike scrambling in the next field.”

There was also success for Kevin Rumble who also set three new records on his way to winning the Sports Freestyle event.

Kevin said: β€œI enjoyed the shoot and it was nice to beat Graeme.”

Graeme Peatfield finished runner-up in the Sports Freestyle with a score of 431.
