FOOTBALL: RUGBY Town girls under-15s won the league cup on the last day of the season beating a previously unbeaten Cosby 7-4 after twice losing to them in the league this season.
The girls, who were runners-up in the league, had lost to Cosby 7-1 and 6-3, and in the cup final things looked to be going the same way as Town went 3-1 down.
However, by half-time the girls had battled back and were 4-3 up.
In the second half against the wind Rugby scored again but Cosby got one back to make it 5-4 before
Rugby Scored two more in the last five minutes to win 7-4.
