Victory for Craig McKee in Braunston

CRAIG McKee headed the leaderboard once again as members of Rugby Racing Club took maximum advantage of the improving conditions by taking part in the ten-mile K11/10B event in Braunston.

Sunshine welcomed the 44 competitors on the A-45 course and it was McKee who finished fastest in a time of 21.07, but he was closely followed by Lewis Jones who finished just 15 seconds behind in second spot while Simon Bayliss took third in 21.34 and Dave Elliott (21.44) was the other rider to finish inside 22minutes.

In the points competition, Jonathan Cottingham leads the way having had one more ride than McKee, while the handicap points table is led by 17-year old Ben Atkinson, now in his third season and showing continued improvement each year.
