RUGBY’S Georgina Ellis used her racing background to speed to victory in the Dodson & Horrell 1.10m National Amateur Second Round.
Riding at the Onley Grounds Equestrian Centre in Rugby, Ellis took top spot with a time of 35.17seconds on Fireball X, an eight-year-old grey gelding who has been competing for just over a year.
Nine from the 18 starters made it into the jump off but none could match the time of Ellis whose winning round was three seconds faster than her opponents.
